All our meat is delivered using refigerated courier service. These couriers are selected for their high delivery success rates but delays may occasionally occur. Please do not refuse or return any delayed delivery - our insulated packaging will fully protect your order for 48 hours from dispatch so claims cannot be made for deliveries received within this time period.
We recommend choosing a delivery date at least one day ahead of when your order is required to avoid any potential disappointment, and stating ‘no signature required’ for further flexibility.
Delivery is free for orders over US$85.00, US$6.00 for orders between US$20-$85 and US$8.00 for orders under US$20. It’s really important to us that your delivery reaches you in excellent condition and with good service. We take care to pack the products carefully in insulated boxes to keep it at fridge temperature - you can read more about our packaging here.
To ensure the meat is fresh we use a 24 hour delivery service from one of our selected couriers. Rather than hide the delivery costs in the price of the meat, which some online business do, we have a transparent cost structure for postage and packing explained below in detail. We offer free delivery on orders over £85 but additional costs for smaller orders or specified morning or Saturday delivery.

Signed for delivery service
A signature is required for all deliveries except during the busy Christmas period. If you cannot be at home on the selected delivery date or the day after, you have two options:
- We can deliver to a neighbour, a friend or to your place of work so that a signature can be obtained - you can select a different delivery address when you check out.
- If you would like our courier to leave your order in a specified place or with a neighbour (at your own risk), please ensure you state ‘No signature required’ in the special instructions box during checkout with details of where you would like it to be left (e.g. in shed, garage, behind bins etc). Please note that under this scenario, Goat Orders Company is not responsible for the parcel if it is misplaced, stolen or lost following delivery as there is no proof of delivery.
Please note that Christmas orders will always be sent as ‘No Signature required’ to provide added flexibility in case of delays, unless you instruct us otherwise.
If you have not specified 'no signature required' and there is no-one to sign at delivery, your meat will return to the depot and may require you to collect it from a Post Office or courier depot.
Please note that it is your responsibility to ensure that you have provided a full and correct delivery address. If our courier is unable to deliver due to insufficient address details, your order will be returned to us and the goods will be spoiled, we therefore cannot issue a refund or replacement in this instance.
Tracking your order
You will receive an email from our courier with the tracking details for your order the afternoon/evening before the delivery day. If you provide a mobile number when you place your order, you will also receive a text message 30-45 minutes before your order is due to be delivered. If your order has not arrived by the afternoon of your delivery date, please track its progress and contact the helpline number given on the courier's website. We advise that customers follow up with the courier rather than ourselves initially as they will be able to assist quicker.
